i donāt normally talk about this stuff on here but i feel like it has to be said especially now after jungwons live. heeseung is not coming back. and im so sick of a lot of engenes grasping at straws for āhints heās coming backā. no, enhypen smiling at their own concert doesnāt mean heās coming back. jay showing a jersey of a certain player that just happened to have a seven does not mean heās coming back.
after jungwons live yesterday i hoped people would finally stop. but there is still so many engenes saying āoh but enhypen gave us so many hints at the brazil concertā.
why is it that engenes arenāt able to listen and comprehend facts when it comes directly from jungwon, but then theyāre suddenly experts when enhypen āgives hintsā. they arenāt actually looking for anything anymore, theyāre just searching for what aligns with their narratives.

honestly i believe if we had gotten somewhat of an explanation or a more detailed statement (from belift), heeseungās departure wouldāve been handled better and the fandom wouldnāt be so divided rn. overall, i just think his departure from enhypen couldāve been handled differently by belift.
i hope that moving forward ppl can respect enhypen as enhypen and heeseung as evan. but always still remember the legacy the 7 of them had!
you are absolutely right. the fandom wants closure from both parties and for them to be able to mention each other and interact freely. but for reasons we donāt know and might never understand, they donāt and itās time accept it. maybe with time things will get less tense that how it is now and who knows, they might interact again in the future when things have cooled down.
though, in my personal opinion that you donāt have to agree with, enhypen has given enough closure and been pretty clear with their stand. but thatās just me. some people might still find it not enough to move forward, as heeseung was also an integral part of the group as much as the other members are, so i completely understand needing more time to move on from this whole situation.
sevEN will never be forgotten, that is for sure ā¹ļø i miss them so, so much (i used to vote for heeseung and jungwon in i-land) but i also know my limits as a fan. respecting their decision is the least we can do now.
Im actually quite happy Jungwon has spoken up. I hope they donāt twist it up and just believe heās saying it because staff or his manager told him to. Now on in the future I hope the fan base can stop being so divided and get along, now seeing it from Jungwonā/ point of view, it can actually be pretty upsetting especially if youāve worked hard to get everything back in order after a member has left, just for them to still scream his name (not saying itās Heeseungās fault) but we do need to credit the boys since theyāve been working harder than ever since March and support them. tbh, i was in terrible denial the first month after his departure but it was after seeing how hard enhypen had been working to pull everything together that i stopped dwelling in my own emotions and started seeing them as who they are. i hope people can do that too. itās hard to move on, i get it, but donāt let it affect enhypen or other engenes. (jungwon clearly stated that the fanchant disrupted their performance too).
also yes, it is none of their fault. iād like to say that this fault is our own as a fandom and the fault is also the companyās for the very abrupt departure of heeseung.
sevEN will always be in my heart. but the present matters the most and the least we can do is respect the current lineup of enhypen and heeseung as a soloist.
jungwon has finally spoken up. they care about the fanchant. of course they do, when they are the ones who had to endure lines redistribution and choreography rearrangements just weeks before the tour. i kindly ask you to stop the ot7 fanchant and start respecting the members. stop thinking about yourself and what you want and start thinking about the members. that is if you truly care about them.
we can always honour the past by streaming their old songs. you can honour heeseung by not leaving him just because he went solo. if you can respect him as a solo artist by doing his solo fanchant then you can also do the same to enhypen. enhypen is enhypen, heeseung is evan. itās high time we give them the overdue respect.
