Okay I have to know. I’ve been wondering for a while but I have to know!!!! Why does Nandor try so hard to not touch Guillermo? Like there are so many small instances where Nandor will rip his hand away (‘Go Flip Yourself’ episode for example) and most recently with Guillermo placing his hand on the edge of the coffin. Nandor seems to WANT to just lightly Pat his hand but seems to pull away at the last second.

If it wasn’t for a reason they wouldn’t show so many scenes of it. Like WHAT IS IT!? Nandor isn’t opposed to physical contact as seen many times with hugs for example.

I, of course, want it to be some like repression of some kind but I have a feeling it has to do with maintaining the hierarchical bond between Master and Familiar. But I don’t know for sure. Please someone help me.

Please hit me over the head with any thoughts and theories :)

Okay but imagine that Nandor gets sick of laszlo and Guillermo hanging out and says “you are spending too much time together. László smells like you (the sweat sunscreen) and you (Guillermo) smell like a vampire!!!” Bruh like what - and he still wouldn’t get it - I want more jealous Nandor

Okay I wanna get my prediction out there kinda - this is what I’m thinking so far

- I think MATTHEW THE BIRD will play a small part in this. I am hoping Nandor with reconnect with the bird and then something will happen to the bird that makes Nandor conceptualize and really realize that mortal beings are fragile and will in fact die. This will be linked to Guillermo. He will have to wrestle with how Guillermo (a human, as far as he believes) will someday leave him in death - unless he is turned.

Nandor will feel the pull to turn Guillermo and will have to be rejected for obvious reasons.

This will of course hurt Nandor greatly.

sorry for all the posting tonight but seriously if we don’t get a resolution to all this ‘’nandor is afraid to touch guillermo’’ motif i will die

i’ve been thinking about this for a while, but i think that there needs to be a way to wrap up their narrative in this season, the whole physical contact issue is definitely a thing they are highlighting as part of their relationship. nandor is clearly uncomfortable with touching guillermo (and guillermo only!) and it probably has to do with how reluctant he is about treating guillermo as an equal and his fear of losing him. 

it would be just amazing to have a scene in this season’s last episode where nandor initiates a hug or some kind of physical contact, possibly influenced by a life or death situation that has just happened, leaving his façade apart for one second because he has feared for guillermo’s life. and then obviously he would return back to it and act all embarrassed (’’that was definitely an accident, guillermo, i didn’t really mean that so wipe that dumb smile off your face’’). 

personally, i think it would fit a lot with their relationship this season! we are just beginning to see how nandor really cares about guillermo and is (..........forcibly.) opening up about his feelings for him. maybe i’m too much of a hopeless romantic, but i think we could get a variation of something like this for the last episode if we’re lucky! fingers crossed...
