Synopsis

When Cameron Bohl, an unknown bio-mechanic, witnesses the abduction of her apprentice, she learns there is far more to her amnesia-ridden past than she ever thought there could be. Joining forces with Qeti, the prickly Siadin quartermaster of the ship Sunli, and her crew, Cam storms her way through the galaxy on a vengeful rampage - and uncovering universal truths she never thought possible along the way.

Multiple millennia later, Jinie A'Maris grew up on legends of a ragtag-pirate-crew-turned-deities. Now, at age twenty-two and an experienced cartographer in their own right, Jin just wants to return to their friends aboard a way station in Androda's Solclyde system only to have their plans crash and burn in the form of a hijacking. Jin sacrifices themself to the violent crew of the pieced-together antique attached to their former workplace after overhearing several discuss a possible location for the deities' ship, soon learning the captain may not have the best intentions.

NANOWRIMO 2019: Gull Guts

Tourist season in Orange Cove wound to an end as school approached, leaving Elio Carozza mourning the loss of his seasonal friends and with them a good excuse to leave his house. Trapped inside with his temperamental father and meek mother, he felt on the edge of going certifiably insane. 

Then an ordinary family dinner turned into a violent attack, forcing him to flee his home. He’d soon learn he’d leapt from the mouth of the beast straight into the belly.

Violent crimes happened across town, seemingly following in Elio’s wake. Bloody, brutal, and committed by familiar faces; neighbors, teachers, and friends turned into crazed criminals, out for blood. A town gone crazy. Struggling to outrun the terror, a group of teenagers slowly formed, with Elio as their makeshift leader. 

Nobody was coming to help. They’d need to find their way out of town or die trying.

NANOWRIMO 2019 WIP INTRO: THE ELEMENTS OF ASTERIA (working title)

For the past 150 years, the Guardians of the four Elements have protected the Kingdom of Asteria from evil and kept nature in balance. The current Guardians, however, are struggling with their new role and the rules that must come with it. One is harbouring a secret relationship, one is having an identity crisis, one is secretly in love with her best friend and the other is discovering the origins of the Guardians. The four girls must learn to deal with all all of their individual issues, but also come together to fulfil their duty to the Kingdom. And on top of all that, something is coming...

nanowrimo 2k18: angelus ad bellum (working title)               tag | my nano

genre: science fiction setting: 1943 - 1945 ; united states - w. europe status: first draft 

helen lives a life that isn’t her own. a member of the icarus institute, an organization testing, creating, expanding the capabilities of the human body. after ten years with them, she’s past simply yearning for agency, for freedom-- she’s ready to do anything to achieve it.

the institute knows their people. when the united states enters the second world war, they take the opportunity to send their new enhanced subjects to fight. to prove their experiment worth the cost. and the prize the subjects will win if they go? freedom.

as helen enters and faces a world unfamiliar to herself, chaotic not only due to the horrors of war but to the alienness of humanity outside the institute. she learns that the freedom she yearns for is hollow without connection and without love. and really, she has a choice to make: which will she fight harder for?

notes: -yes, i am terrible at writing blurbs/synopsizes/whatever the heck that is -my inspirations for this are band of brothers, captain america, & wonder woman -the end goal is 100-120k words, but im shooting for the 50k word start for nano -i shall be making a playlist & a page in my blog theme for the wip im just tired & stressed by fire (this is. my distraction) -shoutout to all the pals who told me this story sounded cool, you boosted my ego & now u must suffer the consequences

Work on short stories/fics I started but never finished? Definitely!!!

My goal is to enjoy myself, and not get caught up in the stress of Apprentices. So here's to it!

The NaNo spread is done!! Which means...

It’s NaNo Intro Time!!

First, look at my spread.

As you can see on the little tags, I’ll make a few updates throughout the month (along with my daily complaining). First one will be on the 1st of November, then one each week after that, plus a final update on the 30th.
