He was beautiful -- with candy-red locks like something straight out of a fairytale. Quicksilver couldn’t deny being in awe of him -- someone who was this gorgeous.

And yet -- at the same time, it frustrated him. Because, how could someone so beautiful -- so personally blessed -- think that anyone would be happier, devoid of their free will?

Was immortality really that awful? Would it make anyone else think that this was better?

He was pretty, maybe. But that was only if you were truly vain -- if the outside was all you cared for. After all, his heart was ugly -- full of selfish values and reasoning.

That was what Quicksilver thought, anyway.

Yet... all the anger he felt, coming here had subsided -- “Y’know?” A chuckle, “I kind of feel sorry for you.”
