Hey, do you have any grinding tips for Persona Q? I'm getting absolutely wrecked by the bosses and trying to grind is so much more of a pain now that I'm used to Persona 4.

The best way to grind is to go to the latest dungeon and create one strategy for every possible combination of enemies you can encounter, putting together a team that can hit all their elemental weaknesses and counter all the enemies’ tactics. If you do that, the rest becomes routine. 

Some more good ideas:

Use Aigis in the backrow. She has a family of skills called “Bodyguard/Bodyshield/Bodybarrier” that allow her to act as a meat shield for the rest of the party. That way, you can avoid having a characters’ Boost Mode broken by an enemy attack.

Use DLC Personas. Kaguya and Orpheus-Telos are for free, but incredibly useful, since they have skills that make grinding a LOT easier.

Use Mudo and Hama. Early on, there’s only very few enemies immune to it and they have a better success rate than in P3 and P4.

Make use of Fuuka’s and Rise’s Skills. Manipulating turn orders and healing the whole party are really strong assets in this game, as is the ability to cancel out enemy advantages.

Generally, I suggest you to have a balanced team which can counter as many enemies as possible.

My personal best team is the following:

Yu/Yosuke/Teddie

Yukari/Aigis

I specialize Yu on damage dealing and Yosuke and Aigis on buffing. Yukari gets the ability to cast magic circles additionally to her normal magic and Teddie gets a Persona with muti-hit physical attacks (I prefer DLC Magatsu Izanagi’s Calamity Seed, but any mutihit will do), to make use of his high Luck Stat and keep him permanently in Boost Mode. 

My usual strategy is the following: Any party member able to hit an elemental weakness of the enemies do so. The remaining party members all take their roles; Teddie and Yu in damage dealing (with Teddie also being able to Recarm anyone fallen with no SP cost, thanks to Boost Bode), Yosuke buffing, Aigis acting as everyone’s bodyguard and Yukari healing. I also gave Teddie the ability to cast fire skills via skill card, to make up for the fact that I have two Garu Users and no Agi User. In runs through the P3 Side, I instead give Yosuke the ability to cast Zio spells, to make up for the lack of Yu. 

Ocassionally, I also swap Yukari for Ken or Naoto (Giving them a SubPersona with Media spells), in order to make use of their Insta-Kills.

I don't really know if there's been any situation like that in the past (people's personal info getting leaked and then erased) so I don't know, but I agree with you, I feel the same.
