KIDDING. i'm not gonna leave you with that. i followed you because you breathe life into an under-appreciated character from a series that basically defined my entire childhood and still remains one of my favorites to this day. you're an incredible writer and an even more incredible person, and i feel so lucky to have you as a friend. you're my darling pepis and i hope that'll never change. <3

yEAH UM I DO MY BEST TO BREATHE LIFE INTO HER SO TO SPEAK. Daphne is a character who I feel would be easy to write one dimensional, but I don’t have any interest in doing that. And yes she is rather liked but also sometimes does feel like she doesn’t get the recognition she deserves and basically I’m all about that lifestyle where I spread Daphne appreciation. 8) WHO DIDN’T WATCH SD IN THEIR CHILDHOOD? Well I’m sure someone out there hasn’t but so many people say it was a big part of their childhood growing up and I know how precious nostalgia can be so I try to deliver in living up to that yes. ;; AWW AGAIN THANK YOU! I AM GLAD YOU LIKE ME AS A WRITER BUT EVEN MORE AS A FRIEND. COKE ILY. CALL ME DARLING AGAIN. *SWOONS*

     “Shut the fuck up and hold still, Jesus fucking Christ.” She’s      already pulling out gauze -- she’s prepared for this, more than she      ever thought she’d be. 

     She has always continued death. She has always been responsible      for tending to them, for telling their stories. She has never once been      put in charge of preventing what was inevitable. While others found the      job of preserving life invaluable, Isis had a cold, dark, isolated thought      that it was all just a waste of time. 

     Now, she realizes, it’s not a waste of time. It’s a fight against time. It’s a     fight they’re always running into with guns raised over their heads. It’s a      fight they will continue, and it’s a fight every single one of them will      eventually lose. 

     But Isis fucking hates losing.

     “S’not bad, you’re fine, you just -- fuck -- okay, there -- y’just need      to fucking stay still for five seconds so you don’t bleed out.” She      wraps the bandage around Napoleon’s arm, tightening it more and more      until it’s a tourniquet.

She’s been a Chicagoan for nearly three years now -- you’d think she’d know the streets well enough to get home.  But it’s an off-night, and she’s a tad buzzed, so she wanders down the near-empty sidewalk in a daze.  It’s late, very late, and she’s just another girl who can’t seem to find her way home.

Ella stops to look up at a streetlight for a moment, letting out a sigh.

                  “ -- welp, I’m lost.”

[ It’s weird, right? Like, the horror *concepts* are big in the rp community (i.e., The Purge, anything apocalypse-related), but the movies themselves are horribly overlooked. ]

//Extremely overlooked and it's slightly depressing. How ever when I come across a blog based on a horror movie I freak out a little bit okay I freak out a lot like a little fan girl. It's sad really that they get overlooked they are all wonderful. I would be ecstatic to see more active horror blogs. I do have one hell of a muse for Juno though but resisting making a blog for her. lol.

"Thank you for saving me… but I wish you hadn’t."

   The look she shoots David is enough to make him stop in his tracks. It somehow manages to be freezing cold and blazing with anger all at once, as if Missy’s personality has manifested right there on her face.

   ”Shut the hell up, Napoli.” Her voice is hard. “You’re the one who saved me, remember? If it weren’t for you, I’d be worse than dead right now. I’d be…”

   Missy’s voice trails off, her gaze drifting away from him and towards the nearby window. She becomes very lost for a while, and it takes some time to find herself again. Once she does, David’s comrade turns back to him, her jaw set in resolve.

   ”Just don’t, okay?”

"Just... don't cry..."

   ”You asshole!" 

   Her voice cracks on the last word, thick with tears she’s fighting back as she applies chest compression after chest compression.

   "Why the fuck would you do this to me?” Her face has crumpled, her chest heaving and her shoulders starting to shake. "You said you wouldn’t leave me! You said you’d be here with me…"

   L i a r,  l i a r,  l i a r…

 Even while he’s dying, he’s still staring up at her with those damn puppy eyes. She can see the guilt there, and it’s killing her. She’s only make it worse.

   ”I'm sorry, Missy.” David’s voice is very frail, barely above a whisper. She has to strain her ears to hear him. "I didn’t mean…"

   She never finds out what he didn’t mean to do, because those green puppy eyes have gone glassy, staring at everything and nothing all at once.
