     “Bold of you to think I’d be that fucking terrible at sarcasm, bud.” He is bold, though, in a different way. It’s a way Isis likes. His lack of attachment is right where she wants to be, too -- though it’s clear that she tries too hard to get to that level. Still, it’s where she feels most comfortable. (That and she’d rather not get clocked in the nose for flirting a third time. Self control, you know.)

     “Fuck off. I’m here by necessity. I could go back over there if I wanted.”

ever since his little sister befriend them, Bellamy accepted their presence with a certain wary ; who’s to ever know when staying friends and in peace will be enough for them. ‘ lucky me,’  sweet amber never looked so pleasing.  this is the kind that comes out honey rich.  he hoists it up to his lips &&  tips it back, letting it sear a chute down the back of his throat.  hot peat perfume lingers on the swish of his tongue. ‘ unless you want something from me i don’ see why you’re not sitting with Octavia and the others.’ 

     With an unceremonious swig, she glances back towards Bellamy and gives an uncaring shrug. The liquid burns, but that’s what she needs. Fuck, she’d drink straight up medical alcohol if it were available. Anything to distract her from the hell they have to witness on this earth. “Why? You said it yourself. Lucky you.” She stares back into her bottle. “Sorry, did you mistake me for a fucking socialite? You’re quiet, I’d rather be here.”

     “Nnnope.” She doesn’t even look up from her papers, staring at them with a rather blank expression. Why the fuck does she even have to do this shit? Her hands are itching to hold anything other than a fucking pen, and her back is fucking killing her. So... yeah, really, why is she doing this again?

     “Fuck it.” She tosses the pen against the wall. “Done with this shit, don’t care.” Finally turning to face Kelli, she grins, crossing her arms over her chest. “Fuck, you look like a coroner’s pin-up calendar girl.”

     What the fuck? “Glad you noticed, Harry Potter.” She doesn’t really take insult to it -- she’s molded herself to be this way, after all. Every bitter remark is a very conscious, very calculated decision. 

     “Didn’t think you wanted to watch my ass that much. Since you’ve got such a fuckin’ fascination --” She turns and walks towards the files. “Sarah Manning, yeah?” The smell of alcohol near her is unmistakable, but she always figures the smell of death is far worse.
