It was on the 9th but yes! It's already been 2 years since my second big chop. I couldn't be more in love with my natural hair. It's grown so much! And the color I got just makes it pop!

FULLY NATURAL 2/2 #tbt Last Fri 8 Aug was my One Year Hairniversary aka #Nappyversary aka #OneYearNatural! So I felt to share my journey for those who are interested. I have loved going natural, learning and loving each curl as I grew out my relaxed hair. A big motivation was my daughter letting her love her curls by seeing how I live mine. Trust me I loved my relaxers and the brush and go lifestyle but I wouldn't go back. Natural hair is SO versatile as I'm learning with each new length. Stats: Last relaxer was July '13 Transitioned (slowly grew out) for 13 months Big Chopped 8 Aug '14 Inspirations: Fusion of cultures, Naptural85, Hair the Beat, Natural Janelle, Neno Natural, Kimmaytube & Green Beauty Channel.

Nappyversary

Sigh* this week though! Monday, the sun beat me so bad. Tuesday, it beat harder and everyone complains that I look like I spent overtime in a tanning bed. Wednesday, rain knocked me about so bad I couldn’t see where I was heading…enough on my weather woes this week. PS: One major excessively good academic stuff did happen 🙏
