I don't jump to conclusions, I do Olympics-worthy acrobatics
oh in that case I hope ot really does get better for you! sending luck and good vibes <3 we're all gonna make it one way or the other
Thank youuuuuu 💗 I hope it gets better for you too!
idk if it was intentional or not but you reblogging that "I hope it gets easier" post 8 times is a mood
It was intentional, it's been a really rough month and a half and this is how I cope now dnxndndndn
Are you a pro-shipper? Because you reblogged something from a pro ship blog (this one)
I feel like this sort of discourse doesn't really worth getting into. Most of it is based on misunderstanding; everyone defines the words "pro-shipper" and "anti" differently and most arguments that come out of this are because one side misinterpreta the other side's definition.
Both sides have their points; fiction, depending on how it is framed, can affect people's opinions on real-life problems. On the other hand, I believe in critical thinking and understanding that just because something happens in fiction, it's not necessary that the person who wrote or read it condones this sort of thing. Sometimes terrible things can make for an interesting story.
I don't condone or ship incest, pedophilia or anything like that, if that's what you were asking. And I block people who do because that sort of thing disturbs me. The original post is from 2016 and while I don't align myself with pro-shippers or antis (I think I'd fall more under the anti category, to be fair, and to answer your question) there were some fair points.
There is a bit of a campaign to sanitise online spaces going on and it has been for a while now. The truth is, the Internet was never safe for minors (or any age, really) and it never will be. I feel like the points made about minors often seeking out content not appropriate for their age isn't unfair. There's more than a few people I know in real life that purposefully ignored the warnings and exposed themselves to NSFW content. And solely because of that campaign to sanitise online spaces, I feel like adults have been a lot more responsible about tagging and warning about the adult content they create.
Anyway, I tried to reply to this as respectfully as I could. I don't mean to start any discourse or an argument, especially if this is coming from a mutual. Both sides have their rights and wrongs; I was brought up with the mindset that most extremes are bad and that the best solution is most of the time near the middle ground. I don't think all forms of adult content should be banned; that sort of censorship never works out and the harder something becomes to find, the more it turns into its own echo chamber that eventually makes itself worse. I also don't think that promoting certain ideologies or condoning certain very harmful behaviours is the sort of way people should be investing their creativity on.
Anyway, this was much longer than I intended, but this is a bit of a delicate matter, in my opinion. I understand how pro-shipper can have very different connotations for different people, most of them negative. I understand how it can be freeing for some people and how it can help some process their trauma with some experiences, the same way I understand why certain things can be triggering for others. But I am not a pro-shipper.
If you have any questions or want to discuss this more or if you want me to delete that reblog, feel free to dm me. There are no hard feelings whatsoever, I 100% percent understand where you're coming from.
Sorry for any typos or if most of this chunk of text doesn't make sense, I typed this up on my phone immediately after waking up from a nap 😅
How did DAI end up on the Year In Review again this year but Mass Effect didn't after getting a remaster? dbdbdhsjsk
So. I tried NeuralBlender and uh... huh.
Hi i am a total rando but i saw your tags on that post about the greek doctors counter scamming antivaxxers and how you keep being thwarted by your parental unit in getting vaccinated, it is completely not my place to meddle but i want to encourage you in saying: whether you get vaccinated or not, noone will be able to see the difference so you might as well go for it! I understand if im making it too simple 😅 but if thats what you prefer for your health yknow, go for it! My own sister is unvaxxed and no one understands because my brother mother and i are fully vaxxed but if you wait for people to make sense in this day and age.. especially family 😑 you'll wait way too long. So go for it ,is my encouragement!! (Im dutch btw for european context)
Good luck and stay healthy~ its literally no big deal btw you can be in & out in 25 minutes😪
Hi! I know I can just go and do it but she has most of my medical papers, since I still live at home. It's a little more complicated than that because I don't really hide things from my parents, I try being honest so I can build trust. My mum has been trying to delay it but she knows that, at the end of the day, I'm an adult and it's my choice. She's a little worried about how it might affect me because of certain medical conditions I have, but we're going to talk with a doctor within the week to discuss which vaccine would be the best and how it will affect me. She's not a fan of my choice and is having trouble keeping that opinion to herself, but she's not actively trying to stop me.
Still, thank you! I'm working on it 😁
