Today is the auspicious appearance day of one revered Vaisnava, an eternal associate of Jagad-Guru Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Sarasvati Thakura Prabhupada - Nityalila-pravista-om-visnupada-astottara-satasri Sri Srimad Bhakti Srirupa Siddhanti Maharaja, He was very competent and had profound knowledge of scriptures. He published a detailed commentary on Govinda-Bhasya of Sri Baladeva Vidyabhusana Prabhu, which is very tough to comprehend. Another important point here- which our Gurudeva (Srila Bhakti Prajnana Kesava Gosvami Maharaja) also wanted - Srimad Bhagavatam is the commentary on Brahma-sutra. Most of the sutras of Brahma-sutra are explained in Srimad-Bhagavatam. Srila Maharaja has beautifully explained this point, where these sutras are present in Srimad-Bhagavatam, and in which context they are being used. These books are very much essential for scholars. Not just that, refuting the impersonalist commentry of Sankaracarya, Srila Maharaja has also written annotations on 11 Upanisadas. Further, he has also written commentary on the three most famous books of Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura, ‘kirana bindu kana, e tin niye vaisnava pana’ (Ujjvala-Nilamani-Kirana, Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu-bindhu, and Bhagavatamrta-kana). For all three of these books, I acquired these books from him, translated them into Hindi, and published the siddhantas a little elaborately. However, the basis was definitely the translations that Srila Maharaja published. Furthermore, he has also written a commentary on Sri Baladeva Vidyabhusana Prabhu’s Bhagavad-Gita and also an annotation on the commentary of Srila Cakravarti Thakura. While referring these, I have published a rasika commentary on Srimad Bhagavad-Gita in Hndi.
Srila Maharaja used to stay with his siksa-Guru, Sri Srimad Bhakti Viveka Bharati Gosvami Maharaja. Later, at the time of disappearance of our Gurudeva (Srila BP Kesava Gosvami Maharaja), he arrived that very night, made all arrangements for his samadhi himself. Not just that, he mobilised the framework of the society Gaudiya-Vedanta-Samiti,and guided us to continue running the society for the next 60 years after the disappearance of my Gurudeva.

‘If we desire to serve the Supreme Godhead but after some time we fail to associate with those who are serving Him, that desire dries up. It is likened to a tree which, after developing some leaves, dies for want of water. Good association is the water of our spiritual life.’
- Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja
