narfoonthenet replied to your post “Guys I’ve been writing Sienna Khan smut (apparently I gotta do...”
Actually, tigers don't purr. Seriously, I checked: their biology doesn't allow for it. They do, however, 'chuff'. I can't really describe what it sounds like in text, but you should find a video on YouTube. It's basically a way they show affection.
You’re right on tigers not being able to fully purr, I’m just used to calling chuffing purring from working at the zoo. That’s my mistake
Not a part of the plot. Very first thing doesn’t even matter.
- Team RNJR waits (at least six months) until they reach Mistral before getting Jaune’s armor upgrade
Was done as thanks for handling the Geist. Plus prove there was a blacksmith anywhere during that time that could have done the job and done it for free.
- The Maidens and the Relics are equally important, but unaffiliated with each other (i.e. There’s nothing connecting them other than the good guys and bad guys want them)
Proof. Never said they were disconnected and future Volumes can disprove that.
- Tyrian is interested in Jaune for no reason
About as much of a plot point as Freddy Krueger targeting people: None whatsoever because psychos being interest in someone just mean they wanna stab you more.
- Tyrian knows Ruby is in Mistral/Anima for no reason
You contradict yourself in the next part
- The waitress knew about Team RNJR for no reason
She was in the bar right next to the hotel and say Qrow staring at them. And all tyrian would have to ask is “Have you seen a sixteen year old in a red cape?” which is pretty god damn basic common sense
- The timing of the storylines do not match up at all (this alone makes the whole Volume a plot hole)
Told out of order: Blake’s storyline is oputright said to be told ina different time and non of the plot threads affect one another except for teh villian plotline and the oscar plotline...which was obvious anyway.
- Ruby has been sending letters even though the only letter we see is the one she writes at the end
Not a plot point either and then that’s means that RNJR must have automatically teleported halfway across remnant in your eyes due to us not seeing every step they take to Mistral.
- Jaune says Ruby’s been giving them [RNJR] the courage to go to Mistral even though Ruby hasn’t done anything
Not a plot point AND Show outright what she did (https://youtu.be/QjBtT4uCWpI?t=9m41s).
- Ruby doesn’t even try to use her Silver Eyes Black Dragon Powers, and they’re never discussed, only mentioned
Tell me how she learned to control them after meeting nobody else who knows the power, let alone has it, let alone knows how to control it.
- Ruby does not use her semblance during the Nuckelavee fight at all
Not a plot point and the Nuclevee broken Ren’s aura after two hit and has an AOE attack: Not exactly something that speed can help against.
- Yang has to think whether or not to look for Ruby or Raven, even though she showed no interest in looking for Raven this Volume (and only 2-or-3 times the entire series)
Not a plot pointr and Yang outright said she wassd still looking for her mother: (https://youtu.be/i7wkw3yEbvQ?t=8m21s)
- Weiss waited (at least six months) until the night of the charity concert to start training again even though there was nothing stopping her
Not a plot point and she was being abused and used: Kind of fucks with your mind. thanks for showing you have no idea about abuse.
- Ruby never expresses the emotional impact the deaths of her friends, the loss of her home, and the loss of her team until the final scene of the Volume
https://youtu.be/IZKpkzPIRlw?t=17m15s
https://youtu.be/rHjUHnG7WOQ?t=3m14s
https://youtu.be/rHjUHnG7WOQ?t=10m30s
https://youtu.be/rHjUHnG7WOQ?t=13m22s
For a tag that screeches “show don’t tell”: you sure do miss all the “show don’t tell” moments.
- The White Fang being known to practically the whole world, but no one (including Weiss) recognizing the name of it’s previous leader (Belladonna) for no reason
Proof Belladonna is not a common name: Assuming that just because Blake shares a last name with the former leader and she’s a Fanaus would be racist...Huh. Also, Not a plot point.
- Ruby’s reaction to finding out Qrow had manipulated her into going to Mistral to use as bait for Team WTCH is: practically no reaction at all
https://youtu.be/g91qG3qTaXE?t=15m33s
Wanna try that again? Also: Not a plot point.
- Ren and Nora arrive at Kuroyuri at the same time as the Nuckelavee even though they are visibly hours away and high up a mountain
Gun recoils< Nora can move tens of yards a second from just one blast and Ren is super fast.
- Kali and Ghira hearing what happened to Vale and Beacon but not that the WF was involved until Blake arrives
White Fang weren’t the problem: Grimm were. Also not a plot point.
- Tyrian abandons his mission to capture Ruby even though he’s clearly still capable of seeing it through and scared to death of disappointing Salem
Because having a primary body part removed and being vastly out numbered without any more Aura to protect yourself is a good idea.
- (Baby)Ren’s Aura (and no one else’s) “unlocked” for no reason
Actually his SEMBLANCE is unlocked, not his Aura./ Proof they are different: Jaune. Also not a plot point.
- Jaune, Ren, and Nora suddenly being from Mistral/Anima
Jaune only vacationed there and Ren and Nora’s Kingdom was never said. Just because they are at Beacon doesn’t mean they are from vale. Proof: Pyrrha. Also, not a plot point.
- Blake suddenly being from Menagerie
Same argument above.
- Blake suddenly having parents even though every other character had already mentioned their parents/family (or lack of)
Not a plot point nor does that mean she never had any: Just means she never talked about any. Also, Ren and Nora never mentioned tehir parents but people assumed them to be alive so just how accurate is that again?
- Menagerie having little living space for people even though it’s a continent (seriously look at the official map: even with just one third, that’s still plenty of real estate)
For 1/5th of the population with wildlife (*and probably GRIMM) that deadlier than normal. Alos, not a plot point.
So out of the so called, plot holes we have...0 that actually exist with common sense applied and only 3 that were even fucking plotholes and several ignore canon.
The situation with Oscar and Ozpin feels wrong to me. On top of pretty much invading a kid’s mind and making him question his sanity, Ozpin’s ‘you can be great’ speech reminds of his 'talk’ with Pyrrha back in Chapter 6 of Vol 3. Considering what happened with her, I feel that Oscar may suffer a similar - if not worse - fate.
How exactly did the machine takeover occur, and is it a complete, literal takeover or is it more of a mass uprising? And is the takeover somehow connected with the Grimm resurgence?
Let’s take in what happen to Canon RWBY.
All of the Knights and Paladins infected by the virus. The machines started a just a few years after the end of the Grimm War. Someone took the reigns of control while everyone mourned for their losses.
TO clarify, its not a total take over. Huntsmen and huntress are hunted down by the machines. Though they avoid heavily guarded areas and city only keeping a close watch on them.
Tried to attack the newly rebuilt Beacon. Which basically ended in Failure on the count with Nora guarding the whole premise by herself
Military bases getting targeted and pretty soon machines started to build more machines. Schnee Dust Corp were raided for most of their technology. Most of it was saved when Weiss created a time locked ice fortress of her home land.
* I still l dont know where to put the Machine city. It was suppose to be on Atlas but the That’s also Weiss’s home. so gotta relocate
And Yes.
The machine actually serves as a diversion.
* i dont mind answering ask XD so if I seemed confusing please let me know I would like keep things clear ofc. :)
For Monochrome Monday: a late night with the mono-moms and Dash's baby Grace (and yes, Grace is the oldest; the babby w/grey hair)
For Monochrome Monday!
The two young mothers had just laid down in bed after an exhausting day at work, followed by a hectic evening of chores and phone calls and cooking and childcare.
It was nearly midnight by the time Blake and Weiss all but collapsed into their bed and rolled tiredly into each other’s arms. Weiss tucked herself into Blake’s shoulder while Blake nuzzled her wife’s cheek and carded fingers through her hair.
“We made it through another day,” she sighed.
“Indeed we did. We’re truly incredible, aren’t we?”
“For sure.”
Blake let out a small purr, and Weiss closed her eyes as it resonated within her chest.
They were both just about to drift off when suddenly the sounds of crying came from next door. Weiss pushed herself up instantly.
“Oh, Gracey-”
“I’ll get her,” Blake insisted. “You’ve worked hard enough today.”
“No, you’ve worked too much today,” Weiss chided. “I will get her.”
“Weiss-”
“Blake-”
They glared, pouted, huffed, then ultimately both got out of bed. They went into the baby’s room to find her fussing in her crib. Blake picked her up and coddled her, purring softly while Weiss cleared her throat. She sung a calming lullaby, one that nearly put Blake to sleep as well.
By the time Weiss’ song had ended, the baby was dozing again. They each kissed her head before Blake laid her back down. They left the room quietly and retreated to their own, curling up once again in each other’s arms.
As they cuddled up together Blake let her purr rumble out and spread across her wife’s chest. In turn, Weiss hummed softly into her wife’s Faunus ears.
