King Narmar aka Aha was an African king that unified Upper (southern) Kemet and Lower (northern) Kemet. He and his Army came from Upper Kemet (which is actually the southern part of the country because the Nile river flows south to north) and lead a series of attacks that eventually ended with the unification of the two kingdoms. This was around 3,150 B.C.E. The Narmar Pallete depicts this unification and is currently housed in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo. The Greek name for Kemet is Egypt and the Greek name for King Narmar is Menes.
