Metacognition
A couple weeks ago we had a PD and the speaker talked to us about how we need to let our students talk through their thoughts with their classmates while they are figuring out something hard and new.
I teaching triad inversions in grade 9.
I’m trying to let them talk through it.
But it is hard hard hard for me.
My natural teaching-comfort-zone is definitely a quiet classroom.
