"Thanks, mates, ya can just leave the luggage wherever, I'll take care'a it in the mornin'."
The few gym trainers who met up with Piers and Marnie at the airport, nod and place the sibling's luggage down. A sleepy Marnie rests in her brother's arms.
"Anythin' else, boss?" One of the trainers, Tilly, asks setting down the last bag.
Piers shakes his head, "Nah, thanks again. Yer free ta go."
Tilly comically salutes, before heading out with the other gym trainers in tow.
His house is the exact same way it was left. Actually it looks a bit cleaner. Did Mara stop by to tidy it up? Piers yawns, He'd figure it out later.
Piers makes his way to Marnie's room, and tucks the still sleeping teen into bed, but not before removing her shoes and jacket. Quietly he closes the her bedroom door, walks to his room, and collapses onto his bed.
Still lying on his stomach, he pulls out the rotom from his pocket, allowing it to come to life and float in front of his face, the screen momentarily blinding him. "Lemmy, can ya text Uncle Grims something for me?" The rotom blips in response, initiating Text-to-speech:
Hey Uncle, made it home safely. Marnie fell asleep on the cabbie ride over an' is restin' in bed. Just wanted ta let ya know we made it home. Love ya ttyl.
With that Lemmy floats back down to Piers's side, and the musician sighs tiredly. He'll check the other messages in the morning, for now... it was time to rest.
