Femslash February, day 23: Gold
My Arcana doodles I did some time ago! 😊
"Girl, don't lie, just to save my feelings I'd rather leave than never believe. If this is it, please let me know If this ain't love you'd better let me know" I'm really ecstatic about this piece, like with a lot of my art work I tend to channel my energy through my mood and most importantly music I've been listening to! This is the case with every piece you've ever seen from me. I don't draw males a lot either so stepping out of my comfort zone and making stylistic choices to better my artwork. Lately I've been in a bit of an unconscious state from lots of changes in my life so being able to produce something I'm personally happy with gives me energy. Check me out on twitter, I frequent there more. https://twitter.com/tgiAidan

TBT: “Tokyo Narita (Freestyle) (f. Lido)” by Halsey
While playing Halsey’s new single on repeat, I took a break from my single-song kick to dive deeper into her catalog. What I found was this quick song with her friend, Lido, who produced four tracks off of her debut album, Badlands.
The song titled, “Tokyo Narita (Freestyle)” is centralized on the lyrics over a simple production. Halsey starts off by singing of mutual musical tastes such as the new Kanye West and Drake’s Views. Throughout the 2:26 minutes the relationship seems to take a turn for the worse and ends with the line, “It seems like you never listen and I hate you lately.”
Lido and her had previously dated and have since remained friends – could this song be about him? Take a listen and decide.
