27. If one or multiple characters in a ship like to cook, what would be their favorite meal to surprise their partner(s) with?: I don't have strong cooking hcs for either of them, I suspect Kabuto would be the better chef and more likely to cook for Naruto on a general basis considering their personality types.

29. Does your ship have any particular symbolism?: Uhm, I don't think there is in the broader fandom? In canon there's dragon/snake and fox/toad for both characters but they aren't really connected like snakes and toads for Sasuke and Naruto. More broadly symbolic of the pair in general. Kabuto doesn't have the same 'space' symbolism as Naruto who has 'sun'. So I'm going to go at this from the angle of symbolism I associate with them.

Symbols I generally associate with them:

Constellations: guidance, forming a picture out of incomplete fragments, there was a book I read as a kid "The Last Apprentice" by Joseph Delaney where 'moonlight reveals the truth of things' which I defo bring into my stuff night being an honest time

Orange and Violet, the primary colors of their outfits for much of the story and I like the similarity that Kabuto gets his purple from Orochimaru (his uniform, purple being a color for Sasuke and Orochimaru) and Naruto from both his parents (red from Kushina and yellow from Minato). This is also a Sasuke and Naruto thing, but I'd say the colors mean something different in Kabuto and Naruto's context, more an inheritance thing.

Headbands: General for their vibe around being shinobi in general, this comes up generally in my writing but for Naruto earning his headband was accompanied Iruka's acceptance whereas for Kabuto his first headbands were a means of disguising himself and earning trust he'd later betray, something he does with Naruto as well. Real vs Fake bonds ig, if I were to put it simply.

Water and Wind: Stormy sea imagery suits them nicely on a lot of levels. Both are characters who dwell a lot on transformation and a lack of control, having to make the best of bad circumstances but in very different ways. Something about making your way through a storm to the eye of a hurricane for both of them. Incorporates their chakra types too.
