What if Mido or Edwin (or Heather, but I feel like she wouldn't) said no to being a trouple?

When I introduced Mido, my original plan was for Edwin to continue to be unmotivated and half-arsing his way through life and for Heather to end up cheating with Mido...or for Mido to cheat with Edwin. He was definitely going to be involved, ideally as the father of one of her children, but they had other ideas and both showed interest in him and I’m so glad they did!
If any one of them said no, Heather and Edwin would try to make it work. They may have even had another child, although I doubt it. Heather would have grown in confidence, while Edwin would have floundered and become more depressed and they would have broken up, leaving Heather as a strong and perfectly capable single parent. She would have had several short lived relationships, but nothing serious and she would have been just as strong, if a lot more selfish.
Edwin would have tried his best to be in Euan’s (their first child) life, and would have gone through the motions, not seeing much success in any particular field, lacking motivation to do much, even something as self-driven and flexible as the programming he does currently. He would probably be depressed and lonely.
Mido would have had several relationships like the one he did with Izzy (his first girlfriend, not Euan’s child) and would have returned to his family and did whatever they wanted to make them happy, perhaps marrying someone he was interested in and didn’t particularly like. he would also be depressed and lonely.
Heather, Edwin and Mido work well as a throuple as they balance each other out. If anything was to happen to one of them now, the relationship of other other two would survive, but in young adulthood, they were definitely better in numbers and needed each other to bounce off of.

This rainbow shirt and my WIP are the same! I have finished it, but haven’t bothered to upload or take preview pictures because I was sure no one wanted it. I’ve wanted to make a wix site for the random things I’m hoarding though I am not sure if I should, haha.

Yep, I did that. Rockstar support changed my username back to my normal one, Jordutch. Yeyy. They’re amazing fast, I didn’t know that lol. Thanks for your reaction :)
Rules: Someone tags you and that person has made an icon on picrew. Your job is to create a sim based/inspired by that photo! Don’t worry about it being perfect or looking exactly as the photo, do it in your own style (all sims games are okay)!
I was a little bit lazy for this one - all I did was take a Sim I had already been making/tweaking that was saved in my bin and make her over to fit the picrew. She got a new hair, eye color, nose, mouth, skin, outfit.............................. but whatever. I think she came out cute enough!
