I’d be far more annoyed if this was a fake meeting with either fake Sasuke (his behavior doesn’t make sense, then) or fake Sarada (there’s only Shin on the ground, he would recognize Shin as the same, not someone ‘affiliated with’ him) than if it’s both of them.
No matter what dramatic cliffhanger, if they’re both real at least they’ve gotten to meet each other now. If one isn’t them, it means we have to go that many more chapters before we get an actual meeting out of them. I’d rather the dramatic one we have now than a cute one that I have to wait forever for.
An Uncommon Theory
Onion Man could have been following Sarada, and Sasuke noticed. So whenever she reached the tower Sasuke sensed the Onion Man and, in protecting his precious baby girl, he immediately went into defense mode.
I’ve seen mangas do this many times, especially on cliffhangers. Sasuke was addressing ONION MAN (Or whoever may have been following her) not Sarada!
