Started a new job this month...
And in friday my manager was going through her emails when she came across an applicant (I only just started so they are still coming through).
New manager: "Oh this person is much cheaper than you"
Me: "hmmm?"
NM: " oh and look at these extra courses they've done!"
Me now realising what she is looking at my anxiety (which is already super high coz,you know new job anxiety) has just tripled.
Who says this? I tried so hard to listen to the "joke" in her tone and waites for the "just pulling your leg".
No, instead she continues to read through new applicants.
