THIS IS SO SAD she would increasingly become more and more desperate as it turned to winter and then as winger kept coming that’s when she would start to believe lottie’s stuff but in the back of her mind she knew that it was illogical for you to be alive and everytime lottie was like “she’s alive” nat wanted to believe her SO bad but she just couldn’t she just couldn’t keep getting her hopes up only to come back empty handed each day then she eventually just accepts it and stops looking for you

and when you finally come back??? OH MY GODDDDD SHES SO GUILTY!!!!! no matter if you are or aren’t talking she just keeps imagining you freezing in the cold without her and she’s SICK

she’s just constantly holding you and fussing over you and asking if you’re warm even if she doesn’t know if she’ll get an answer

she will literally have a death grip on you the entire night and probably has to sleep with her head on your chest or just some way she can hear your heartbeat and remind herself that you’re here and not dead

and if by some miracle you manage to roll away from her whether on purpose or accidentally she’ll just randomly wake up and like freak out until she rolls over and finds you again

Ive been down all day and i just want to have a conversation with my boyfriend but that has to be difficult too. 😔 I just want to cry, its been an over all shitty day.

I just want to find someone who will have in depth conversations with me about fictional characters, talking as if they actually exist. I always want to talk about the dynamic between Don Draper and Betty on Mad Men. I know that I am way far behind and in current seasons they are divorced but I just want to talk about WHY they are together. 

Betty is a child. She acts like a child. She is needy. She is clingy. She is dependent. I don't understand why Don married her in the first place. Like, I get that she is a pretty face but he acts more like her dad than her husband. He is constantly scolding her and reprimanding her behavior and I get that it is a stylistic thing of the 1960s that they are trying to capture but it's more than that. 

I also just want to talk about Don as a father. Or his jealousy issues. He hates every time Betty even looks at another guy but he runs around fucking half of Manhattan. I know that is just more of the idea of the double standard between men and women that they are going for but there is just SO MUCH that I want to talk about.

Is there some class I can take that examines mid century lifestyles as portrayed in the media and we can talk about Mad Men and the way that things are seen? CAN I START THAT CLASS?
