Natalie Maria Cole. She was the source of my song. She was the light of my heart. She was my guiding force and my friend. Imagine being an 11 year fat, Black, asthmatic, gay nerd in the projects of DC and hearing words like INSEPARABLE and RECTIFIED come out of mouth of a hazel eyed, afro-sporting soul sister who spins your head around with THERE'S NO POT OF GOLD AT THE END OF THE RAINBOW.
