A tongue-in-cheek comic page for the fictional couple Simon Night and Nate Scott. Inspired by Calvin and Hobbes noir, the first panel shows Night in the dark, a silhouette in a fedora, in monochrome, muttering noir-detective things to himself. The next two panels show blond, hot Nate Scott marching in to ask what Night wants to do for dinner. His words trail off as he beholds his husband going full theme, with striped shadows from the window blinds and everything. Given this is taking place CENTURIES in the future, Night is a goober. (They're both goobers.)

I keep thinking about Nate Scott like imagine you're gay, lovingly married, and a bottom - and then your royal dad shows up like hello btw you're my heir :) and so that means at some point you will have to father an heir (it even was a pretty big deal for said royal father who was into women). Reminder that you're gay, married, and a bottom. And also from a species where even if the pregnancy takes, it doesn't mean they will inherit the Right Stuff to make them your species and therefore viable heir.
