The Little Vampire (2017) is the most criminally underrated movie I have ever seen. Please go watch it. It’s on Netflix and it’s amazing.

As a fan when the show first emerged back in the mid 2000s, I loved Avatar: the Last Airbender. It was an amazing and well-written, well-paced, cultural inspired cartoon that depicted real world issues in a way my preteen brain could understand. Any fans younger would also understand why these situations were issues.

With the newfound popularity of this treasured show (thank you to Netflix), I can see why newer fans are critiquing it for these issues. And it's healthy, because for us younger fans, we didn't understand everything surrounding what was brought up at first. It can be caught by older audiences quickly back then, but younger audiences didn't know the impact yet. We also didn't get the chance to talk about the series in a way like the newer fans get to. This is honestly something good to discuss.

That being said, I will still always love and respect the creators for giving us such a treasure of deep story and rich character development. The Gaang are still my favorite characters to this day. And nothing can change that for me.
