Even though the discovery of Arvo Part, for me, has been a very recent discovery, he has already become an immediate influence on my music.  This man is incredible. He embodies so much of what I want to explore and come to understand.

Cracked ribs are the least fun things ever, I shit you not. Someone take me to the hospital so they can give me loads of painkillers to combat the SPLITTING PAIN IN MY SIDE, and let them x-ray me so I can shove the picture in Brick's face and shout triumphantly "LOOK, YOU FINALLY DID IT, AFTER MONTHS OF TRYING, YOU'VE ACTUALLY BROKEN ONE OR TWO OF MY BONES, SUCK MY BALLS, YOU CRETIN, I WAS RIGHT." 

The skateboard incident definitely tops the black-eye-and-bust-lip incident by way of injuries, it has to be said.

Nathan is home in EIGHT days, which is almost a WEEK and I couldn't be happier about it. Although by the time the poor bastards home, I'll probably be bald, with bandages everywhere and missing a piercing or two. He won't even recognise me haha! Touring's hard... I didn't realise that when other people complained about their other halves being away on tour. I may well get used to it though!
