Just a little reminder for some people out there.

Nate has both depression and social anxiety.

He has said so on several occasions.

He tries so hard to be there for us, his fans, and tries to give us what he feels we want and/or deserve.

Pushing him for statements on politics or scandals is neither fair nor appropriate.

Let the man keep his peace of mind. If he wants to make a statement, then he will when he is ready. But as someone who understands the social anxiety side of things, I get not wanting to express opinions online. People shaming you for things you say can really fuck with your peace of mind.

Stop pushing, stop putting him down, and let things go.

I'm not gonna call you out by name, but you know who you are if you see this. Leave the man and his fandom in peace, please. He's only human and deserves to be treated with respect.

This is Nathan Sharp, Nathan Smith, Natewantstobattle.... I don't care what you call him. Doesn't matter. What matters is that he's a great person with a good heart, and I'm tired of seeing people try to force him into talking about things he doesn't want to comment on.

He is a musician and content creator(streamer). He tries hard to keep up with chat and acknowledge his audience. As such though, he gets to CHOOSE what he puts out there for the world to see, and as a whole, his choice is to put out things that reach people's souls. He puts out content that shows people they aren't alone in their struggle. Hell, his music gave me the courage to save myself....as I'm sure it did for some of you.

Those of you trying to push him to talk on his stances politically, need to take a damn chill pill. He isn't using his art as a platform as a lot of artists do today, and I think that is something amazing and special. Something that should be praised.

His opinions are his own. They don't have to be put under a microscope. You wouldn't like it if someone tried to force you into some political agenda whether you agreed with it or not.

You would want it to be your choice, what you spoke out on and what you didn't.

Give him the same common courtesy.

I think sometimes we forget that celebrities, no matter how much they try to reach a personal level with their fanbase, are people too. He is human. He doesn't have to fit into your box of what an entertainer should be.

Give it a rest. Let him be.
