It’s wedding time: for once with guests that actually behave: Graham’s family members - parents Rita Mae and Nathaniel and his two siblings Madison and Christopher. :)

With this, Skye will take Graham’s last name and become Skye Flynn.

“An entitled spoilt little brat whom throws tantrums when something displeases her. What a disgrace to the Flynn name. Is she always this petulant?” Vlad watched Arya with a haughty lift of his brow.

“Just for you vein muncher” she shot back at him without bothering to turn around, “but I didn’t ask for your opinion. It’s irrelevant. And you!” Arya jabbed a finger at Nathan, “I’m only going to ask you this one more time or so help me-”

“Stop it! Would you just stop it!” Nathan’s patience finally snapped in two, “even if your father WAS still alive he wouldn’t want you there! He made you promise to get out! Gave his life just so you could get away and be safe and what do you want to do?”

Arya flinched at the mention of her father. Nathan and her argued all the time especially since they grew up more like siblings than cousins, but he had never yelled at her. Not once. Each word he spat was like a dagger to her already flimsy wall around her heart.

“Run, head first back into the danger?” He continued “Just stop being so stubborn and think! We’re beaten, exhausted and not to mentioned injured, what good do you think we would be hm? We would be sitting ducks against the Elders and putting even more lives at risk when someone would inevitably have to save our asses.”

From behind Nathan Rowena stepped forward on unsteady feet. “Arya... I think Vlad and Nathan are right. W-well at least what I think they mean to say .... We’re here a-and there’s nothing we can do about it. We’re all drained..” Ro paused eyes widening as she glanced at Vlad “m-magically drained...”she added quickly. “We have nothing to offer. A-and a shower sounds nice. I don’t think I can stand much longer. M-maybe if we clean up and tend to our wounds we might be able to think clearer and be more useful?”

The last part was said just above a whisper but it was what finally broke her will to fight.

Aaaaand the last night of the round does indeed mark Isaac’s birthday. Grandparents Mika, Sherlock, Rita Mae and Nathaniel are in attendance, of course.

Back in the Flynn household: Westport’s first family to reach the point where only the elders are left at home, waiting for the heir to return from university and join them again. :) Since two elders (and a dog) isn’t the most engaging gameplay, the round ends up being just one 10-shot-post, which is gonna start being a recurring theme in the coming rotations.

Nathaniel and Rita Mae are both still working in their adult lifestage careers - I’ve always kinda seen them as “all work and no play”; they only had three children and their careers have been their main focus. As for Jinx, she just aged up into an elder dog. :) It feels weird that she still has the last name Alberich since being adopted by the Flynns, but... at least they gave her a good home.

Well, it’s not a real wedding without kissing your brother before pranking him, and dads having an epic chess showdown.

The knot has been tied <3 Mika still refusing to participate, I can’t believe you’ve done this.

With this, Madison will take Icarus’ last name and become Madison Thornstorm

The most impressive thing about this wedding is that Mika decided not to participate, and instead just... stands in the middle of the aisle thinking about BBQs... great.
