Idk if you’ve answered this before but what tribe(s) are each of the band members a part of! And are you yourself native?
Thank you so much for asking! I really should've mentioned this before lol
A'yakwa and Dyami are both from the Sauk and Fox tribe.
Piav is Ute and Apache.
Orenda is Iroquois and Apache.
Nayeli is Zapotec and Navajo.
I myself am not native (at least to my knowledge and even then probably not enough to count); however, I have a great uncle who is full Sauk and Fox, his daughter and her three kids as well (half and 1/4 respectively). They are how I decided to make Dyami and A'yakwa from that tribe as well. Also in middle school I did a project on that tribe and my teacher told me, despite having references, that it was a fake tribe and I didn't have native family.
🖊️ BALLPOINT PEN — does your oc have any tattoos? do they want any (more) tattoos?
Dyami doesn't currently have any tattoos, but isn't opposed to getting some. He feels like it throws off his whole stage vibe if he got anything visible.
🔱 TRIDENT EMBLEM — can your oc swim? do they enjoy swimming?
Swimming isn't his favorite activity, but he would never turn down an invitation.
🧡 ORANGE HEART — does your oc tend to prioritize family or friends?
Friends mostly, besides his sister. His parents were pretty neglectful and he never really got to know his extended family since they lived so far away. At this point his friends are his family.
Her whole childhood she felt invisible, touch is one of the only things that makes her feel seen.
Second is words of affirmation.
She seems to always need reassurance and know she's doing good.
Gifts are another good way to show her you care.
Orenda isn't much of a material person, but the idea of you thinking about her sends her over the moon.
Acts of service and quality time are last.
She enjoys both, just hanging out and such, but he likes to be on the move and worried others won't like it.
Over all she likes doing things for others as well, it makes her feel needed.
Dyami
Physical. Touch.
You'd think he was touch starved by how much he likes holding hands and stuff.
Quality time is secondary.
He absolutely loves spending time with everyone and making sure they're appreciated.
A close third is acts of service.
Dyami hates feeling like a burden and actively seeks out errands and chores to do to make everyone's load easier.
Words of affirmation are his go to for his sister.
He wants her to know he loves her and appreciates all the sacrifices she made for him.
Last is gifts.
He's a fantastic gift giver and loves making and finding things he knows they'll enjoy.
Totole
Words of affirmation and quality time are tied for first.
They like silent time with their friends as well as running around with the girls.
Words mean more to them than anything. Their parents always showed affection by giving them food and a roof over their head, but never said they were proud of them.
Acts of service are next.
After taking care of Dyami for so long, they realized that it was the best way to show him they loved him.
They sacrificed everything for him, and always did what he needed.
Gifts are fine, but not their favorite.
They'll appreciate them, but it doesn't mean much to them.
For Totole Physical touch is dead last.
A lot of the time they feel touched out or overstimulated and touch just makes it worse.
Piav
Piav prefers quality time and physical touch.
His idea of a good time is laying under a blooming tree and reading while holding your hand.
Words of affirmation are a huge need for him.
His dad told him he was proud, but when he was set on doing music their relationship crumbled.
Sometimes he just needs a little extra assurance.
Acts of service and gifts are the least important to him.
He doesn't mind help of gifts, but he just feels he doesn't deserve them.
He grew up better off than a lot of his friends and feels he has to take care of himself because of it.
Nayeli
Gifts.
She is the best gift giver of the group. She focuses on what people like and leaves mental and physical notes of them all.
Physical touch and quality time are a close second.
Even if it's just shopping with the girls she's the type to hold their hands and skip along as they go.
Acts of service aren't as meaningful for Nayeli.
She'd rather have people do what they need than go out of their way for her.
Words of affirmation mean the least to her.
Being told she's loved is always nice, but sometimes it feels flat and just routine to her than actual love and affection.
Erez
Words of affirmation are what means lost to him.
He's trying to do better in life and your praise and support helps a ton.
Physical touch is just as important.
Your touch seems to calm him down and level out his mental state.
Erez really enjoys quality time.
Spending time with you helps him not be tempted to smoke and drink as much.
Acts of service are lower on the scale for him.
He likes having help, but he feels that he's able to do most things himself.
He is not a good gift giver, so it's not her favorite
He feels he never gets anything right, so he doesn't like giving gifts.
