I voted and I hope you do to!
It's an important election, both at the national and local level.
💙💙💙
For the US folks, it's probably another reminder you've heard time and time again, but please remember to register to VOTE! As cliche as it sounds, your voice really does matter.
My mom instilled in me at a very young age the importance of voting so I saw every election how she got up early to stand in line to vote (local, national and tribal). So when I turned 18, one of the things I was excited for was my chance to vote.
Remember to vote in your local and regional elections. It all starts at the bottom. As an enrolled tribal member, I also vote in my tribal elections.
Lastly - research, research, research! Look at every candidate on the ballot, find out more about their backgrounds and see where your views align on issues. Also, don't forget the propositions on your ballot. Research what they are proposing and how it affects you and those you love.
Don't throw away your chance to make a difference - VOTE!!!!!
