Nina was aware that their shop was one of the only ones closed that day, and she was even more aware that people were confused about it. But she'd been requested something extravagant, and if she didn't want to work by candlelight she would have to sacrifice one day of regular profit. She would be earning more than she would lose, regardless.
Most knew not to bother knocking unless the store was actually open, only regular costumers or family would usually dare to bother the young tailor while she worked. So when there was a knock at the side door, she groaned, rising from the stool on which she sat. "This had better be important." She murmured a mere second before opening the door, surprised to see a face that had only recently become familiar. "Ezio! Buon' giorno!" Just like that, all annoyance seemed forgotten.
