random rant but. the other day i was in vc parallel playing with friends and screensharing my genshin. and out of the blue one of them started complaining about skirks design? like. of course its the friend that has the habit of doing that while we play genshin and i already told them to tone it down once bc it dampens the mood. i got really annoyed at the moment but just pretended i didnt hear it. and it got me thinking that its such an odd thing to do? i cant imagine watching a friend playing a game and just start complaining about the character theyre playing with (knowing that its a character the person likes). unprompted. shrugs

#and like im not against complaining i love doing that lol its just an issue of them not being in the right crowd for it #and never realizing it. like everytime they complain with us our responses are eh. it doesnt get a conversation going #and like we do agree on some things about genshin. such as the blatant colorism #but thats almost never the talking point they bring up #natpost
