Erica again wiped away her tears that seemed to continue to fall even though she was trying to will them to stop. She had to keep reminding herself that just because Brandon had left her that she wasn't some type of plague but it didn't lessen her heartache knowing that he also left his one year old son, Romulus. She took a moment to gather herself as she sat in her parked car. Erica knew she shouldn't have drove to Stiles' house but she was there now. 

With a small sigh, Erica got out of the car and walked to the front door with her son in her arms. She shifted Romulus in her arms and knocked on the door as she began swaying.

Isaac was running in the woods, practicing for the upcoming lacrosse game. It was a nice change to his life to have time to worry about small things like that, instead of Alphas and Darachs and generally the bad guys. He had been running somewhere around the old Hale house, because he'd grown to know the woods better there, and when he decided to reach the abandoned building to sit down and rest a bit, he was surprised to see someone already there. "Hey," he said, frowning.
