set of 9 earthpigment pens finished. Pure natural pigments, nothing else. No binders. German Roetel (Sanguine), French and Italian Hematites and ochres, beechwood charcoal and natural black iron oxides. They can be used lie pastel sticks, blending with fingers possible. starting a new painting, using multicolored mudstones found at the ice age moraine, Moroccan red ochre from Kremer Pigmente, charcoal, Roetel (Sanguine) and pens made from yellow ferric clay from my home town. Sometimes a piece will chip off from the mudstones, but that's no big problem. The lines drawn with the Roetel, the ferric clay and the mudstones can be washed with water easily.
