Forget the fantasy—these rosy river dwellers are real, and they’re one of the Amazon’s most fascinating mysteries. Born gray and blushing pink as they grow, they’re masters of echolocation, capable of 180° neck turns and upside-down swimming.
Oh, and local legends say they can transform into charming men to seduce women. (Yeah, it’s wild.)Get the full list of 16 amazing pink dolphin facts and see why they’re one of nature’s coolest glow-ups. 📖 Read it now on Trivia Sharp.
Just witnessed a real-life puffer fish, and it's blowing my mind. 🐡✨
Recorded crickets with a simple dSLR and then simply slowed it down to various speeds. Nature is cool

It’s ok to be wrong :) So you might have seen my stories where I said this was an endemic sphinx moth to the Galapagos. Well I finally was able to load it to iNaturalist and learn that is probably Erinnyis ello a moth that ranges from Chile to Nevada! I guess enough of them are able to fly back and forth the 600 miles to these remote islands to keep the gene pool mixed up!! I haven’t seen the above ones on Isabela island yet, there were tons where I was on San Cristobal. I have seen some smaller darker ones here. I’m pretty sure these ones are endemic 😉 Don’t forget to check out my stories from the Galapagos by clicking on the little Marley in the green circle. If there is a colorful circle around it that means I have a new story. #natureiscool #moths #lepidoptera #galapagos #entomologygalapagos #hummingbirdmoth https://www.instagram.com/p/CfXsQfpLrOA/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
