Over the past year museum staff has been helping collect data for the Vermont Invasive Plant Phenology Project. A project coordinated by the Vermont Forest Parks and Recreation Department (@vtforestsparksrecreation). Observers for the Vermont Invasive Plant Phenology Project are adding to a scientific dataset that will help people in Vermont plan for and manage invasive plants effectively. Management is often linked to the timing of a species' life cycle events like flowering and seed set, and current recommendations are broad range estimates based on out-of-state management experiences. 📷 by E.
