Parrish from Teen Wolf is on a Hallmark movie RIGHT NOW. He looks weird so young.
Posey with @dauntdraws and @NATWPodcast at the #bitecon tea party. Posey checking out the Adagio teas, smelling his tea for the first time by putting his ENTIRE face in the bag, and then letting the audience know that he'd be willing to provide the cream for the tea... in his own way.
BiteCon FEEEELS BITCHES
How to write up my views on BiteCon without it being just a stream of unintelligent happy babbling? Because that's really what it is in my head.
I've been to a lot of cons, mostly big ones like DragonCon. BiteCon had an entirely different feel in the best way possible. It was small, intimate and so welcoming. I could walk up to any random group of people and start a conversation about whatever and people would talk to you.
I met so many people. I can't even remember all the names and tumblrs of people that I met because I talked to so many random people. You were all amazing. No, seriously, everyone. I never met a single person I didn't want to hang out with again. Let's not forget hanging out with my sister, p1013. We haven't had a chance to do that in a long time and it was awesome. Watching her freak out meeting fandom "famous" people was my favorite thing ever.
The panels were fantastic. Each one had me laughing or thinking or crying or cheering. This is probably a silly thing to be excited about but they were moderated so well. Panels can get so unruly with the wrong moderator but the Not Another Teen Wolf Podcast girls kept things running smoothly and the questions were respectful, insightful and hilarious.
Now, I did three Meet & Greets and the cast member at each one was awesome. There was only a small group of people at each greet which made it intimate and fun. I can't pick a favorite, I can't. They were all so much fun. Talking about following your dreams with Orny, or Linden with his headcanons about Claudia and the Sheriff or being band geeks with Keahu, these are moments I don't think would happen at any other con.
The most memorable experience had to be the two hours I spent in the bar with the writing team. I know this fandom is super critical of the writing and the show but these people are the nicest, most invested people. They love the characters, they love the show and honestly, I can't take listening to fandom bitch about them. This includes Jeff Davis who was a really awesome guy.
I am so ready to go again. Bring me BiteCon 2015 because even if they have half the guests I still want to go. I would go to this con simply to hang out with everyone I met. BiteCon reminded me of how awesome fandom can be.
FEEELS BITCHES
Podcast's Analysis: "Not Another Teen Wolf Podcast"
Not Another Teen Wolf Podcast is focus on recap the episodes of the TV show Teen Wolf, with the host perspectives, Natalie and Karen are the two adorable hosts of it. They unique look, and all the cute fan girl-y noises/feels add something to the show itself.
The podcast follows the chronology of event as they happens on the show and both of girls comments on them. The personal "feels" and thought are spontaneous and the fans can relate (or not) with it. The podcast raise a lot of questions that most fans didn't see and reinforce the discussion on the episode for others.
The girls received guests on the podcast and after introducing them they just leave him or her to talk whenever he or she wants, don't have a hint to the guest speaks, they just do! It's interesting to see the stream dynamic of the podcast, with works very well.
For a non native listener the podcast is very clear, the girls pronunciation is very punctual and even when they race the speak when they get too excited on a topic the pronunciation is clear.
For those who is learning English as a second language the podcast is a good choice, the topic isn't related on class material but still is valid if we think about the student's other interest. The podcast is a good material for pronunciation and vocabulary skills, even if the listener see the TV Show with Brazilian Portuguese subtitles.
Not another Teen Wolf Podcast is a great show, the girls are very funny to listen to and add some interesting point of views on the TV Show's episode. The podcast is very funny and has a line easily indentified so you can follow it (even if you lost the track in some points).
