Ask 17 year-old Zak Robushi what's so special about this summer and he'll tell you it's hanging out with a great group of friends by the water. Except -- this summer is no day at the beach. It's hard work cleaning up pipes, wires and other junk that has polluted the Naugatuck River.
This is super weird. Google Maps shows two circular bodies of water, but when you look at the satellite image, they look like two filled in holes with grass growing on top. This is located where a chemical plant used to be. so who knows wtf is in there. they probably buried tanks filled with a bunch of radioactive material in the ground or something. How does Google maps know where water is?
Saturday, April 30 - HVA hosted the Naugatuck River Festival at Linden Park, Naugatuck, Connecticut. It was a gorgeous day and families and paddlers joined in celebrating the Naugatuck River, the Housatonic's largest tributary.
