Hey folks! I'm starting an art Tumblr as well! I've got an Insta and Tiktok under @marigold_hare already, but kinda wanted to start a Tumblr for mainly oc art and fanart and to find people to talk about my niche fandoms with lol 😭

Baby sailor's first scrimshaw! My inspirations were 19th century Aivilingmiut, Wampanoag, and Anglo-American examples I saw at the New Bedford Whaling Museum this summer, as well as the ones in the #scrimshaw tag on this blog.

Stitching this piece felt like reading an old storybook on a rainy afternoon, dreaming of tiny sailboats and endless summer adventures. 🌊🐶🤍
