I would ship Tseng with Elena - Almost as a mutual comfort thing, they are kind of a yin and yang - Tseng organised and compartmentalised, Elena fiery and impulsive. I think they are a doomed ship though, due to their differences in position, personality and also that Tseng may hold a flame for Aerith. All in all they would make each other happy for a time, and that's something.

[ T S E L E N A. I have so many feels about Tselena. I definitely think Tseng has some level of feelings for her throughout the years. But with Elena, as with pretty much ANYONE ELSE he could be with in a relationship, he’s convinced himself that she would deserve better than him. I imagine they would be together for a while, mostly post-compilation, but Tseng’s endless cycle of his own self-loathing and need for distance from people would eventually drive a wedge between them. WHICH SUCKS. But I have a lot of very real feeings about Tselena THANK YOU FOR WAKING THEM UP BUDDY. :V ]

//OMG. -Encourages this shamelessly- I thought this was going to be, at most, something like 5 chapters long? If not then there’s always room for a Wutain/ native angle. There’s room for every angle. There’s room for every single character in the compilation -YELLS- I’m not sure if you’re aware of my Tsuffie ship -side eyes- But this all fits in with the whole duty-bound aspect. He makes a fine bodyguard for her and they are also possibly engaged because yes, arranged marriages happen. What if he’s seduced by promises of a better life by Rufus though? What if he turns his back on his people? What happens to Yuffie? How do the other Turks cross paths? They must all cross paths. I love seeing parallels in fiction to canon, that’s my jam. HNNNNG.

Re: Tseng, I’m not sure what to do with him. Tortured soul, Native Wutain driven from his land. Wants to kill the landed gentry . Maybe he, Yuffie and Godo are the last survivors of their particular Clan. Godo is gravely ill and Tseng must provide.

-VIBRATES OFF THE COUCH- Oh no, now I want to draw him with a bow and arrow and a feather in his long, sweeping hair o.o. But you have to consider the main arc/ characters of the storyline and try not to introduce too many new/ different elements. Otherwise my friend, you will end up writing a monster fic spanning no less than 50 chapters.

I have thought of employing the Turks as an Outlaw band of mercs who will do anything for good money. Some of the shadier businesses within the town may need some under the table business done.

Even if they’re not actually in it, I’d love for them to have some presence at least -a passing comment, a casual remark- the bogeymen who dealt with ‘so-and-so’ on the eve of ‘that-one-day.’ But I am just obsessed with Turks and want them everywhere even when they have no business being everywhere xD

Can you imagine the dialogue between Tseng and Hojo? -wheezes-
