6. Do you have a fan character? Tell us about them!

I was going back and forth on if I which character I wanted to do, so I'll just do both of them this time.

First is Micho Auruka, the Ultimate Defense Attorney. Micho is a pretty chill and laid back gal that often gets mistooken for a hobo at times due to her ripped attire unbefitting of a supposed lawyer. Instead of suits and ties, she wears a hoodie and a beanie(that's ripped so her ahoge can fit through). Micho was forced to study professional law by her father, the Chief of Police, and took law and defending pretty well. But due to her being a young girl, she was underestimated by judges and prosecutors alike. So Micho decided that she wouldn't try as much if others wouldn't take her seriously, she was already the smartest person in the room, no need to showboat it, right? This led to her making a devastating mistake in her career, one she dreads thinking about each and every day. Micho is like a big sister to most of her classmates and friends; she's kind, helpful, optimistic, and holds a strong sense of belief in others.

Next is my fankid, Sayuri Hinata, the Ultimate Lucky Student. Initially Sayuri was the Ultimate Friend many years back, but I changed that relatively recently. Sayuri is Hajime and Chiaki's firstborn daughter, she's fun and cheerful and loves to help her friends whenever possible. So much so that she's unsure of what she wants to do with her own life a lot of the time. Sayuri also doesn't have an ahoge funnily enough and is often jealous when her friends have one but not her(she just can't make it stick), luckily her ponytail does all the emoting things too to make up for that.

17. List five headcanons for your favorite characters!

Oh man, we're gonna be here a while...

Hajime Hinata:

-Hajime used to like magic when he was a kid

-Hajime takes care of the neighborhood cat. He's tried taking it in but it always finds a way out, and yet still comes back to him for food.

-Hajime likes swords and imagines dual wielding them.

-Hajime sometimes feels insecure about his body at the beach and wears a T-Shirt or a tanktop when he's not going in the water.

-Daddy issues...and mommy issues...

Chiaki Nanami

-Chiaki plays so much that she forgets to eat and is therefore underweight

-Chiaki doesn't know how to swim and learned from Hajime and her classmates on a beach trip.

-She's cousins with Chihiro Fujisaki and that's why Chihiro and Alter Ego designed her that way.

-Chiaki can play some games in her sleep. Like those biking games at the arcades, her body just moves on it's own.

-Chiaki has her own let's play channel and twitch streaming account.

Miaya Gekkogahara

-I like to imagine that she's related to Monaca in some way. Probably her aunt

-She can talk, it's just that her voice is very low and soft.

-She sometimes talks like Usami, saying "Love Love" frequently

-Miaya likes to give gold stars to some of her children clients that do good in their respective sessions.

-She owns...so many bunny plushies

Kaede Akamatsu

-(This one is post-DR3)She got into an accident with Headmaster Naegi's car and literally begged to be punished because she felt so bad about it.

-When helping Shuichi out at crime scenes, she has a bubble blower that's supposed to be like a gag on cigarettes. She even uses Sherlock Holmes novels words and phrases in an effort to make herself sound smarter.

-She was the pianist for many of the other character's weddings. Makoto and Kyoko. Komaru and Touko. Fuyuhiko and Peko. Even her classmates'.

-And in one such occasion her car was towed while she was in the middle of a song.

-Kaede's favorite fruit is strawberries I imagine.

39. Which character do you feel deserves more love?

Miaya Gekkogahara. Look...I know she basically doesn't talk, and by all accounts in the DR3 anime we never get to see the real her, but c'mooooon! An Ultimate Therapist that helped made the NWP in the second game, and her design is cute as hell! We need more Miaya in our lives. Something, anything, I'm begging over here!

You know I gotta ask about my boi Sonic!!!

Favorite thing about them: What’s not to like? That cocky attitude, that determination and willpower, and the blitzing speed. Come on guys, it’s Sonic.

Least favorite thing about them: I guess I don’t like how his characterization can come off in some games as childish or just outright dumb like in Lost World.

Favorite Line:

brOTP: Sonic and Tails. They’re literally brothers.

OTP: Sonamy, and Sonaze too. Perhaps basic but, who cares?

NOTP: Sonadow. I don’t outright hate it, I just…don’t ship them romantically

Random Headcanon: Sonic in his younger years, and during his time on Earth before meeting Tom and Maddie, was that he attempted to try and mimic Longclaw and owl tendencies. Like trying to turn his head around all the way, or sleep upside down or even fly….none of these worked obviously.

Unpopular opinion: Sonic Prime is a good show, and I actually liked that Sonic kept trying to talk to Nine and reason with him.

Song I associate them with: Uh, let’s see…we’ve got Live and Learn, Open your heart, Knight of the Wind, Endless Possibilities, Sonic Boom, Reach for the Stars, Fist Bump, Undefeatable. Pick any one of those.

14. if you could give a TED talk on anything, what would you talk about?

Oh man, there’s a lot of things. I could give a talk about the good parts of DR3. I could talk about how Pokemon Journeys was a really good show. I think I’m going to settle on “Why Smash King is the GOAT of Machinima”. I do have a script I am working on for specifically that.

How I feel about this character

Ever since I found out there was going to be an Ultimate Magician in V3, i was through the roof. Because I had my own Ultimate Magician OC, I was curious to see how they would make this character work. And let me tell you: I was not expecting Mage Chiaki to be the direction they went with the concept. But I still love her nonetheless. Himiko develops so much over the course of the game that how anyone views her as a useless survivor is beyond me. Starting out with being lazy and hiding her feelings to living life positively and working her hardest to survive with the others(as positive and hardworking as she can be...). Himiko may be my favorite "joke" survivor, beating Kazuichi and Yasuhiro in those categories. Not only because she's really funny, but also she because she has a character to her, and just as much a reason to push forward along with everyone else.

All the people I ship romantically with this character

Let's see here, there's Tenko and Angie, obviously. Maki's pretty cute. I do like her and Kokichi when I'm not implementing my own little headcanons into the mix. And uh....I think that's it.

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Ummm....not really sure. I imagine her hanging out with Chiaki could be pretty fun, the two taking naps a lot. Maybe her hanging out with Gundam for dark arts stuff. And her with Shuichi is a cute friendship.

My unpopular opinion about this character

Yes. Himiko did like Tenko before Chapter 3. The two have a "no energy, too much energy" relationship. They are NOTHING like Touko with Byakuya, or Kazuichi with Sonia.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

People like to draw characters with items that their beloved partner had before they died. I.E Hajime with Chiaki's hairpin, Maki with Kaito's jacket, etc. Himiko should have gotten something from Tenko. Like a belt or a robe or her pinwheel hair thing. It probably wouldn't be too much I'm imagining, I just like this trope.

Sonic the hedgehog for the ask me. You know... cause I'm me...

To be expected, *finger guns!~*

Sexuality Headcanon: ...You know what? Kinda funny idea I just had on the spot but, I think Sonic is so free that he just doesn't want to be labeled. He'll just roll with anything, so I'm going to stick with that. Gender Headcanon: This too! Free from the binds of gender, he does not care, he rolls with it. A ship I have with said character: Basic ones like Sonamy and Sonblaze. I think I also like Sonsurge if I squint hard enough. A BROTP I have with said character: Him and Tails' brotherly bond is something special, and I do like his dynamics with Knuckles and Shadow. A NOTP I have with said character: Eggnan. That and his metal/mecha counterparts. A random headcanon: This kind of straying from the Sonic fandom and more fanfic-y territory but I don't care. Him, Mario, Link, Pikachu, and Kirby are like the main squad in Smash Bros. The GOATs, the Avenegers of the Smash World if you will. They always hang out together. General Opinion over said character: Sonic is cool man, I like him a lot. He's been hitting some hard times especially with his fanbase but, I know he's just going to get back up and keep doing his thing!

I guess one would be that I’m kind of funny, at least I think I am. So I know what jokes would land and what wouldn’t. Other than that I think I’m very creative with ideas and crossovers that others wouldn’t think of right off the bat.

I think all of that stuff is pretty important in its own right. I tend to focus on the plot, characters, and grammar mostly. But of course world building is essential too.
