Nax [pl.: Naxes]

noun

A sentient, carnivorous but peaceful, supernatural species of equal intellect to humans and human-like supernaturals.

Common traits: - 2-8 eyes - front legs have pawlike hands with opposable thumbs - hind legs comparable to kangaroo's and rabbits - all fingers/toes display sharp, partially retractable claws - breathing slits on their chests protected by a scale like bone protrusion that can seal itself watertight, if doing so they will breathe through their mouth - disproportionate tooth/jaw size and flexibility in comparison to other mammals - all Naxes are hermaphrodites and have no concept of physical or perceived gender - Naxes can have 1-2 youngs (kits) per pregnancy, very rarely more - capable of understanding human language, and learning new languages - capable of learning reading and writing - Naxes have a hard time understanding the concept of official/legal names, and (in most cases) prefer to just be called Nax - Naxes do usually enjoy nicknames based on inside jokes or the like from friends and family, it's a symbol of familarity to them, if you are a stranger do not call a Nax by the nickname others use for them

Nax Stuff

They’re a closed species that I’m working on. The general idea came from the creature!nor design.

I would like to know your opinions on the Info Sheet, this is part 2 of the intended info-post, and only covers the different traits they can show. I’d mostly like to know if it’s easy to understand, or if it looks messy/complicated. I have yet to finish part 1 of the sheet with the traits they all show (like opposable thumbs, how theiir mouths work, throat puches, weird af rabbit/kanaroo backlegs, eyes and lids, diet/eating habits,etc).

Please do not make up your own Naxes without asking. I will soon make adoptables, get your official Nax then!
