THAAL SINESTRO/YELLOW LANTERN + REMEMBERING HAL JORDAN/GREEN LANTERN in SINESTRO (2014)
Summer of Clones week 6 theme: No order 66 Week, Alternative prompt: Post-War. Without Order 66, Nax would have probably a better life. (He is the homeless clone in the Obiwan Tv Show) I draw him chilling on Pabu.
🚨Minor Kaos spoilers, mostly about ships🚨
Genuinely losing my mind over the fact that the only relationship, the only form of love to receive divine support is Orpheus’s intense, overwhelming, needy love. Bc Orpheus doesn’t love Eurydice, he worships her. He puts her on a pedestal and devotes himself to her.
And obv there are like plot reasons for Dionysus’s support of Orpheus. But it keeps sticking out to me. Bc the gods don’t care about the sweet and equal relationships between Riddy and Caeneus or Nax and Theseus. Hell, Poseidon straight up ignores and completely disregards Minos’s love for his children, especially Ari.
And it’s just so interesting bc the only “love” to receive divine approval (twice!!) is Orpheus’s worshipful devotion. And I just think it shows so much about how the gods interact with humanity. Even those who care about and interact with humans fundamentally misunderstand human emotions and relationships.
Sinestro #18
I've gotta get my hands on this clone's hair!!!
Get him some curl cream and hair oil this instant!
Nax! Your hair! I gotta fix it! I can see the waves! They are begging for proper products!
[From the Obi Wan Kenobi graphic novel]
This scene crunched my heart up real bad.
So I wrote a fix-it.

Nax and His Luxurious Hair
Baldness is mostly axiomatic for the Clones. Case in point: Boba, the Alpha. Wolffe somehow keeps a little bit. Genetically enhanced Hunter is the exception.
Not Nax, though, the homeless Clone in Obi-Wan Kenobi. Seriously, how did this guy win the Clone Hair Lottery?! It's thick, it's long! There's no gray in it! His hair would make Hunter jealous!
