Things get lost in translation. I don’t think voltage can do anything about it unless they decide to do what they did for the apps with infamous translations lol. Dui does not translate well, especially his ms where he has the two sides. In Japanese it’s REALLY OBVIOUS and I could feel the tension, the shock of seeing how diff it was but in English, well… its not there. Because it can’t be translated. I think it’ll be the same for Partheno

I guess the only thing we can do is to point out the details that couldn’t be shown in official translation QAQ

TBH Ivan has always been quite mean and seems to be disapproving of Aslan in Aslan’s routes, but in Aslan’s wedding their relationship has grown and Ivan not not congratulated Aslan, he actually acknowledged Aslan as a prince. To me, in a sense I can accept that he treated Aslan badly initially because at the end he grew to accept Aslan for who and what he is. Doesn’t mean I like him being so mean initially though. Just saying LOL.

I know this isn’t directed at me precisely, but since it’s attached to my post I’ll comment and say that while it was really bizarre to hear of Ivan’s actions in Aslan’s route, then fact that he does go on to change is a good sign of character growth.

Unfortunately, we don’t really see that too much with the KBtBB, which is a shame given that there are plenty of jerk characters in the app that could do with some actual growth outside of their main stories. I guess that’s the unfortunate side-effect of when you want to turn a game that’s supposed to be about choices into a giant essay about how great one character is.
