Someone: “Are you a man or a woman?”

Jaskier: “I’m a Bard.”

Someone: “Okay but what gender are you?”

Jaskier: “I play the lute!”

Someone: “But what’s in your pants?”

Jaskier: “Bread ;)”

Gosh I have so many ideas that I'd never write lol. You dont have to do anything that doesnt vibe with you but I've always liked fics that didnt revolve around jaskier being enby or using they/them pronouns and it's simply a thing that exists but it isnt the main plot and maybe sometimes it would be pointed out like "I use these pronouns btw" or geralt being a protective boyo. I'd also love to read jaskier coming out to geralt (dont feel obligated to write, I'd love any of your stuff)

Oh boy I'm totally vibing with this. I personally always enjoy fics where it's just a background thing that a character is enby. Like, ones that are focused on it are good too but there's never any of the day to day stuff where the character can simply exist as enby.

You my friend have given me a wonderful idea for my next fic. I'd start writing it immediately but it's after 1 am and my laptop is buried under a bunch of cables rn.

Would you ever write enby!jaskier again? I know it was jsut a vent fic but I just loved your portrayal of jaskier and there just isnt enough enby/trans jaskier out there (let alone writers that use they/them pronouns for them). I'm just curious btw, I love whatever you write

Omg I never get asks about my writing, thank you so much! I agree there's barely any enby/trans rep in witcher fics. I hadn't really thought about writing more enby!Jaskier tbh but if that's something you'd be interested in I'd love to explore that some more as I did quite like writing them that way. Also, if you have any suggestions or prompts, I'd love to hear them and hopefully make something out of them.

I'm relatively new to writing fanfic and so far I've only really written whump which is why I don't tend to write Jaskier as enby in most of my fics because I didn't want it to come across as like, transphobic or something (even though I whump him because I love him and that wouldn't change if they were enby), but if that's also something anyone would be interested in then I'd be happy to write that too.

I'm finding as I write this answer a few ideas are popping into my head so maybe quite soon there'll be some more enby!Jaskier lmao
