So...I Guess I’m Starting a Sports Blog!

Hi! I’m Lexi, otherwise known as @mightymargaretofanjou here on tumblr dot com, and I’ve been wanting a place to put sports content for a while now, so here this is!

The URL: comes from my uncle’s nickname for me, he’s one of the first people who really supported me getting into sports. I know it sounds like a tagline for a pyramid scheme, I promise it isn’t. 

The Content: will probably be a mix of hockey, football, and pro dance/cheer. I’ve been dying for some content about pro dancers and cheerleaders in athletic organizations that doesn’t sexualize them to high Heaven, and I can’t find any besides Pro Cheerleading Podcast, so fuck it, imma make some.

The Teams: will probably include about every team on this side of Mars. As far as football goes, I’m a former Washington fan who got tired of Dan Snyder’s shit, and I haven’t been into hockey for long enough to have a team yet, so I currently run around stanning individual players and loving the game.  

The Goal: Increase the number of female and LGBTQ+ voices present in sports-loving spaces by at least one, grow a solid space to plonk sports content, and make some friends!
