Hehehe... Fully optional question! But for the sake of being nosy, can we know what rank Moss held before being promoted to leader?

Ooooooo... Do we know all of why Drift was favored for leadership over Shell, despite Shell having the former shire head's blessing? As in, we know Drift was an excellent ranger in a time of scarcity, but do we get to know if Shell had any fatal flaws that saw cats leaning the other way? (<- nosy and want to know why he was seen as unfit for leadership)

(BONUS: ALL OF THE ART ON THIS BLOG IS SO PRETTY... ABSOLUTELY STELLAR :3)

It varied from cat to cat, but for the most part, the members of the shire favored Drift because of the difference in goals and mindset between him and Shell.

While either would make good leaders in very different ways, due to the stress and unknown that followed the change in location and the need for exploration and development of roles like the rangers over the continued focus on simply hunting and defending territory. Had the shire been in better circumstances, Shell likely would have taken his place as leader without resistance.

Most cats now are the children or grandchildren of those who settled in the new territory and experienced this firsthand, so their remembrance of the events is mostly shaped by how it was told to them. Applicants are welcome to elaborate on this and decide on how their characters feel and how their family felt about these sorts of events. You are also welcome to explore it further once accepted and able to plan with other members!

Do u think Stormsight was named for his connection w Starclan cause he saw a SC cat while he was an apprentice... Also gives me the image of him having been good at predicting storms which is just really cute to me. ANYWAY! Godspeed in your pursuits comrade)
