Omg Sander definitely gets all huffy about it. But he tries to remain subtle. Keyword: tries. He’ll make sarcastic comments and he’ll walk around with a cup of coffee or pretend to read a book in his hand, trying so hard to stay casual about it all, but when Robbe goes on about this guy in his film class that just understands perspectives and narratives so well that his eyes are practically shining in admiration, well, Sander can only let out one word answers in response. He’s trying to be supportive he totally is, but it’s been day 3 of Robbe talking about him non-stop and it’s making his skin crawl a little. When Robbe notices he ends up making up for it with lots of kisses and affection and a lot of teasing about being jealous lol.

But I don’t think either of them would take it to high levels of jealousy tbh not now when they know they have each other 😌💫

🐚😌 He sat across the couch wrapped in Sander’s arms, listening to the steady beat of his heart, and it was another little thing that grounded him in the here-and-now. The images of the movie they were watching flickered in their irises, eyes half-lidded and filled with languid lust. And every so often, Robbe would feel a peck on his cheek. On his temple. On his jaw. On the pulse point in his neck. It wasn’t until Sander’s lips brushed the metal of his earring, that he squirmed in his grasp with a gasping smile.

D: Not my favorite. I avoid it if I can, but it won’t necessarily put me off reading something.

SKSJDJ like it really depends on how it’s written with this trope bc like sometimes it’s annoying especially when there’s an easy fix or the miscommunication like doesn’t make sense that much but when it’s a funny miscommunication or it’s written super well then it’s good! But generally I don’t like it when it happens in a fic but you also can’t avoid it in a fic 😩
