I've been working on pinpointing why the "Vandal's" left rear sits about 1/2-7/8" lower than the right rear. Next theory on my list to test was that I possibly have a sagging leaf spring on the driver's side. So my buddy Gio came over yesterday and helped me swap the rear leaf springs from left to right. We also tested height without shocks and inspected the leaf bushings and drop shackles. Results were the same heights. No sagging leaf springs. At least that's checked off the list. Now to keep searching. Maybe I mounted that modified front hanger a little lower on one side. I've got to do some measuring. Some people probably wouldn't worry about that 3/4" height difference, but I wanna know! Also, It's not from the common assumption of being the fuel tank is on that side, because I ran it empty and then measured. I CAN tell you an interesting fact, that filling up the 25 gallon tank lowers the rear (both sides) of the truck down roughly half an inch. Interesting, huh? Lol That's about ~150 lbs of liquid added to the suspension. There's many possibilities for a "Chevy Lean" issue like this on a stock vehicle, then even more possibilities are created when you've modified the frame and suspension as I have. I'll figure it out though. #vandalproject #leafspring #chevylean #nbschevylean
