I was very disappointed in the weather yesterday. After Sunday, I was expecting water standing everywhere, floods, some power outages, more heavy rain and strong winds. You know what we had: clear roads, no standing water, sunshine, calm beauty. And those idiots allowed school to be let out two hours early on Thursday, canceled Friday & Monday. Wimps.
It’s that time of year. Bernadean needs her jacket. Kenzie loves this weather. The colder the better.
Every spring, every freaking spring. Why can't NC just be normal?
Super fun thing happening in NC, USA - all 100 of our counties have gotten snow today (WILD) and the beach currently has Category 1 hurricane conditions but with snow (I think they’re at or over a food now?? At the BEACH??) AND it’s under 25F.
Even better is that the heinous dry spot/force field in the middle has been banished. This is such crazy weather!!!! It’s also so so cold this is so bizarre
Fuck, even though the hurricane has moved further inland overnight and I'm still only on the edge, there is now a tornado nearby.
When I went to Walmart an hour ago.
Debby may not be a hurricane anymore, but it's still bringing some strong winds and a ton of rain. Here's hope there isn't any flooding here.
