Painting spotlight: “Through The Curtain”. With my grandmother’s passing last December, and going back to school this past spring semester, I haven’t been in the mood to post on social media lately. But I’m going to change that this summer by posting once a week with a spotlight on one of my paintings in my Etsy shop. This week’s spotlight is “Through The Curtain” an 8x8 inch acrylic on canvas painting. Inspired by my love of castles and the idea that there are hidden passages around every corner, I made this painting of a hidden staircase behind a curtain. I love how the shadows on the curtain turned out, and I love how vibrant the red looks against the gray stone wall and floor.
