Today Siri did something for the first time. Her coach Matt said that Siri did “posting” when he introduced the concept today. He said that it takes years for some people to learn but she did it with ease. According to Google: What does posting mean in horse riding? Posting is to rise out of the saddle seat for every other stride of the horse's forelegs, thus smoothing out the jolts you will encounter if you just sit. This makes riding the trot much more comfortable for you and your horse. It doesn't matter if you ride English or western. When Matt explained to me, I didn’t get it but Siri understood his instructions and followed them. Smart girl SIRI 💖. Today she was totally calm and focused. Her voice volume was down too. I don’t understand why I am sobbing every time I watch Siri’s documentary (still in the making). It feels very tiring and emotional but with a happy ending of course. Feeling so emotional watching my child who is minimal in communication do what I wish she could. When we first came here to NCEFT I was not sure if she would like it or not, if people teaching her would have the patience needed to understand her and if others on the location would complain or get annoyed with her loud voice. I am sitting here watching her be herself and I look at others they behave like they don’t hear her loud voice.
